How to Solve Problems

Problems sculpt us because they force us to grow. Our soul is here to experience expansion (or we wouldn’t be having this human experience).

If our purpose is to evolve into our true selves, then problems are imperative. Which is precisely why we must see problems as opportunities rather than set backs.

Opportunities to gain deeper understanding of ourselves and others, opportunities to practice forgiveness on ourselves and others, opportunities to rise beyond limiting belief systems and old patterns. And in the case of today’s post: opportunities to deepen our spiritually.

The Truth Behind Spiritual Growth

True spiritual growth comes from the realization that you are inherently perfect just as you are.

The greatest lesson I have learned thus far is that endlessly seeking a deeper spirituality is often a distraction or a means to divert from ourselves for hope or understanding or meaning.

We may feel like a greater truth outside of ourselves will be our saving grace, and while its true that a Higher Power exists around us, the key is to understand it exists within us.

Live in Manual Mode

We often go through life on autopilot without ever questioning our motivations. The beauty of life is we have the ability to shift gears into manual mode.

Manual mode is tough; the road is paved with unknown twists and turns and even bridges are missing that must be built.

Some people never turn on this mode because it is very tough to maneuver. With the option of auto, who would want to learn manual?

A Raven Beginning

As I walked along the park path, a giant, blackbird flew overhead. I have seen these hawk-sized creatures in another neighborhood park without the slightest clue as to what they were.

The bird landed on the roof peering over the park. A Mockingbird quickly flew to his side, flitting about playfully with a rambunctious spirit. I see Mockingbirds nearly every visit to the park, so I pondered the relationship to the blackbird. I had a hunch that this bird is not a crow given its gargantuan size.
